Director's Bio Nick has been engaged with the world of film for more than ten years. In 2006 he completed a degree in cinema, media and literature at the University of Sydney, where he also acted, wrote several plays and directed a series of experimental short films. Out of a desire to gain exposure to a diversity of film making techniques, he began work as an editor, primarily in television documentary. His love of fiction filmmaking remained strong, and in 2005 his first narrative short, SOUNDTRACK, was accepted into the Brisbane International Film Festival in Australia. Since completing Soundtrack, he has continued editing while also gaining credits as an online editor, most recently in the documentary Despite the Gods (which premiered at Hot Docs 2012 in Toronto). He has also had stints as a digital colourist and in 2011 he was the cinematographer on an adventure documentary at the North Pole.
